What is the NEWlife discipleship traning……
Newlife Training is an introduction to the principles of Abiding in Christ. Topics covered include a theology of suffering; understanding your self-life and unique self; relationships with God, you, and others; unbelief; and the practical outworking of the ‘abiding life’ in Christ. This is accomplished in either three 2-hour evening sessions or two 2-hour evening sessions.
How Do I Host NEWlife Discipleship Training Sessions ?
Hosting training with NEWlife is simple.

The basic requirements include picking a facility, providing an overhead projector or LCD projector and screen(Ray stands by the projector to write while speaking), the distribution of fliers and the designation of a person to oversee the selling and accounting of materials at a book table.

What is the Cost of Hosting Training Sessions?
The amount to be paid for the Basic or Advanced Seminar will vary according to the price of the following items:
1. The Speaker’s return travel expenses, & travel to and from Seminar site.
2. The cost of hotel accommodation (clean, basic with internet access)
and feeding speaker.
3. Venue hire for the meeting place (if required)
4. Rental costs for overhead projector & screen (if required)
5. Refreshments (if required during breaks) for those attending sessions.
6. Publicity expenses, in line with YOUR local policy.
FEE for ATTENDEE’S
Basic Training (10 hours) held over Thur & Fri Nights and 6 hours Saturday
$60.00 p/p.
Advanced Training (14 hours) held over Thurs & Fri Nights,
6hrs Sat & 4hrs Sun. Using the Unique Self Profile)
$75.00 p/p.
nb. The above times & days are negotiable to suit your schedule.
Adding together the costs of the above items will enable you to determine the amount your church, organisation or group will need to budget for the seminar/workshop.
Speaker Requirements
We are often asked if Ray has any special requirements when travelling, and we really appreciate that concern.
Therefore, the only absolute necessity is a non-smoking room without roommates in a moderately priced hotel/motel, with internet access, Ray also shrinks from the thought of appearing to be exclusive and has so enjoyed the personal time in homes; however, the result is a reduction of the time that he knows needs to be spent in preparation before the Lord. He says, “Doing a NEWlife conference is different from just speaking. I must be able to witness to what Jesus is speaking into the hearts of the people. The external witness must agree with the inward witness of the Spirit. This takes time listening to the Lord.” And with an ever-increasing travel load, not having time alone makes him enter the next portion of his schedule exhausted.
Also, Ray is on a strict diet with no sugar, spices or fats. He eats very simply with meat and vegetables. He can’t eat anything spicy at all……..
INVITING individuals to NEWlife Training…
In hosting a Training sessions, we would ask that you send out PERSONAL invitations to friends and family. This method has proven successful, when utilised. For example : a group of 12 -15 individuals each send out 10 ivitations.
Also each church, group or organisation can use whatever media that they find most effective.
